We have put together some frequently asked questions regarding
the changes and how the car park will operate from 1st February 2022.
Do I get a ticket on entry?
No, the car park is camera controlled using Automatic
Number Plate Recognition system, so no ticket is given.
How do I pay?
The cashless kiosks are located on both the ground and 3rd floor lift lobbies. Simply enter
your vehicle registration number then pay before returning to their
vehicle.
What payment methods are accepted?
The cashless kiosks accept chip and pin and contactless
payments only.
What happens if ​I only have cash paying for parking?
Each level of the car park has help points which allow
you directly contact our security teams, alternatively you can contact 01442
229350.
Why has the car park turned cashless?
Over recent months, cashless payments have become
increasingly common, and the new process will help those customers wishing to
minimise contact.
How much is it park on a Sunday?
To park all day at Riverside on a Sunday is £1.
Is there free parking available?
Free parking is available every
day from 6pm-11.30pm
What is the height restriction of the car park?
The height restriction is 2.2 meters,

How much is
it to park if I have a blue badge?
If you are a blue badge holder, normal
parking charges apply. We ask that you display your blue badge when parking in one
of the 14 spaces available across all levels in the car park.
